POLICIES AND TERMS
To help appointments run smoothly and ensure the safety and comfort of every dog, please take a moment to read the policies below before booking.
By making a booking, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to read these policies and understand the arrangements that apply to your appointment.
1. Cancellations & Rescheduling
I understand that plans can change, so I kindly ask for at least 48 hours’ notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations or changes made with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a 50% grooming fee. Thank you for respecting my time and helping me keep appointments running smoothly.
2. Late Arrivals
Please arrive on time for your appointment and let me know as soon as possible if you’re running late. Arrivals more than 15 minutes late will incur a lateness fee, as this impacts the day’s schedule. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late, your appointment will need to be cancelled and a 50% grooming fee will apply.
3. Late Collection
As I operate on a 1-2-1 basis with no cages, prompt collection is important so there is no overlap between appointments. I will let you know when your dog is ready for collection 10-15 minutes beforehand, unless agreed beforehand on a longer time period for travel. If you are running late, please contact me as soon as possible. A late collection fee of £10 per 15 minutes may apply after 25 minutes.
4. Matting
I always want your dog to look and feel their very best! If your dog arrives with a matted coat, a little extra time, care and patience may be needed to ensure they’re comfortable throughout their groom. A matting fee of £5–£30 may apply, depending on the severity of the matting.
Your dog’s comfort and wellbeing will always come first, so I will never brush through mats that may cause pain or distress. If a shorter clip is the kindest option, I will always discuss this with you beforehand to make sure you’re happy to proceed.
